NRLC Promotes Kristin Beckner to Managing Director

Arlington, Va. (April 30, 2025) – The National Railway Labor Conference (NRLC) today announced the promotion of Kristin Beckner to Managing Director of Labor Relations and Benefits. 

With over a decade of labor relations experience in the freight railroad industry, Ms. Beckner will provide strategic leadership and oversight for both the labor relations and employee benefits departments at NRLC. She has been part of the NRLC team for more than four years, most recently as the Director of Labor Relations. Prior to that, she held multiple labor relations roles at Norfolk Southern. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. 

“The NRLC congratulates Kristin Beckner on her well-deserved promotion to Managing Director of Labor Relations and Benefits,” said Jeff Rodgers, Chairman of the NRLC and the NCCC. “We look forward to her continued leadership on behalf of the railroad industry and its employees.”
